Good questions
All three. I train clients one-on-one at Virgin Active Table View, come to you for home sessions around Table View and the northern suburbs, and coach people online wherever they are. We pick whatever fits your schedule, your budget and the way you like to train.
Only if you want to train with me at the gym. If you're a member at Virgin Active Table View, we can train there. If you'd rather not join, that's no problem at all, we do home visits or online coaching instead, so you never pay for a membership you won't use.
I cover Table View, Blouberg, Sunningdale, Flamingo Vlei, Milnerton, West Beach and the close surrounds. If you're just outside that, message me anyway and we'll work something out.
Yes. Most of my clients started exactly where you are now. Every programme is built around your current level, not some imaginary fitness standard you're supposed to already meet. We start where you are and build from there.
Yes, when it's the right fit. The results come from a plan built around your life and someone keeping you accountable, not from me standing next to you counting reps. If you're reasonably consistent and happy to train with guidance rather than supervision, it works just as well as in person, and it fits around a busy schedule instead of fighting it.
No. I build your programme around what you've actually got, whether that's a full gym, a few dumbbells at home, or just your bodyweight and a bit of floor space. Making the most of your setup is part of the job, not sending you off to buy things you don't need.
It depends on which option you go for and how often we train. I'd rather talk it through on a quick free call and give you a straight answer that fits what you actually need, than throw a number at you that might not. No pressure and no surprises. If you'd like a sense of the numbers first, I've broken down what personal training costs in Cape Town and how my packages work.
Most people feel it before they see it. Strength, energy and sleep usually pick up in the first four to six weeks, and visible changes tend to show around the eight to twelve week mark. It depends on how consistent you are and whether the nutrition side is coming along too. Anyone promising faster than that is selling you something.
For most people two to three sessions a week is plenty to make steady progress. Some clients train once with me and do the rest on their own. We'll set it around your schedule so it's something you can actually keep up, because consistency beats intensity every time.
Yes. I hold nutrition qualifications alongside my training diploma, so we sort the eating side too. No extreme diets and no cutting out everything you enjoy. Just a way of eating that fits your life and moves you towards your goal.
Yes. I've got a good amount of boxing experience and I coach it in home sessions and in person, mainly for people who are new to it, want to learn the basics properly, or want to use it as a brilliant way to train. It's not professional fight coaching, but if you want to box for fitness and solid technique, I'll get you moving well.
Yes. I hold a personal training diploma and nutrition qualifications, and I've coached over 500 clients with more than a thousand kilos dropped between them. If you want to see what that looks like in practice, my results and client stories are on my coaching page.
If I haven't answered your question here, just ask. I'll give you a straight answer.
